Presents "Urban Narratives”
January 26 - May 6, 2013
For its 6th exhibition, Espace Louis Vuitton Tokyo goes west to explore the Indian contemporary art scene. Through eleven pieces, out of which eight were newly-commissioned, the show takes as its starting point the idea of presenting the Indian scene as an Indian based in India sees it unfolding. It also takes India during a moment of transit where space and time cross over to produce complex figures of difference and identity.
