on Saturday, July 8 | Jiyugaoka, Otaku, Tokyo

this traditional Japanese flower arrangement expresses Japanese aesthetic,
which is different from that of the Occident
You can enjoy yourselves by learning flower arrangements
for Japanese festivals and annual events

  

 


- Highlights of the workshop -

・Workshop is held in English
・There are chances to communicate with Japanese learners at the same lessons
・If you enroll SFC's regular course, you can be qualified as a teacher recognized
by SFC at the end of course
・Children over 6 can also join

 
  Purpose of the event:

  To hear your opinion and suggestion for how we spread "Ikebana" to foreign nationals (to the world).
  Your opinion will be utilized to plan a new Ikebana workshop in order to further enhance foreign tourists' 
  attracting of Japanese culture which add more values & attractiveness to their visit.

  Type of Studies: Group Interview (light: 30 mins after workshop)

  Dates: 11:30AM~13:30PM, Saturday, July 8th

  Application: HERE by July 1

  Place: Jiyugaoka Bunkakyoushitu (自由が丘文化教室) | MAP

  Address: 7-8-4, Okusawa, Setagata-ku, Tokyo (東京都世田谷区奥沢7-8-4)
  Access: 4min-walk from Jiyugaoka station "自由が丘" (Tokyu Toyoko line)
  or 3min-walk from Kuhonbutu station "九品仏" (Tokyu Oimachi line)

- Ikebana Instructor - 

Seika Ata | 阿多 星花 (あた せいか)  
 
 

Instructor of IKEBANA:Japanese traditional Flower arrangement.

Deputy representative of SFC flower school.
 

- Started to learn IKEBANA from 10 years old.

- Got the license from SFC Flower School at 18 and have taught it for 16years.

- Graduated from “Tokyo University of Foreign Language” , and majored in Korean.

- So interested in international cultural exchange and have taught IKEBANA
for foreign tourists in English and Korea many times. (experience programs of  IJCEE)

- Also have original IKEBANA experience program for foreigners at SFC flower school.

- Appeared in a program “D’splay” of D-LITE (BIG BANG) as an instructor of IKEBANA.

草月流生け花3級師範
韓国語通訳案内士
韓国語能力試験6級(最上級) 10歳から生け花・フラワーデザインを始め、指導歴14年
 
東京外国語大学にて韓国語を専攻。
ソウル大学校に1年間交換留学中にも現地学生向けに生け花と日本文化の講座を半年間実施。
現在、韓国語での指導も行っている。
外国人向けの生け花体験プログラムなども行っており、
BIG BANGのメンバーD-LITEさんのTV番組「D'splay」でも生け花を指導。
 
指導を始めた頃はジュニアコースを中心に担当し、
横浜銀行にてジュニアコース花展を開催し、作品制作指導。
都内学童保育などでも指導経験あり。
現在、ミキハウス子育て総研のハッピーノート.comにて
「親子で楽しめる花歳時記」というテーマでコラムを連載中。
