Kokedama Arrangement: Make your own colorful
“Green Moss Ball”, and grow it! Enjoy feeling, touching, and connecting with
the nature from your hands. First up, chose our plant from small plants, and remove the soil from around
the roots of the plant by shaking gently. And then wrap bog moss (水苔) around roots, and bound up tightly in string several times not to fall
apart. We added bog moss and bound up repeatedly! Bog moss was a nice feel to
touch, so all of us relished the texture (soft and unique) when squeezed it and
remove excess water. We had fun with connecting with the nature from our
hands! The most difficult part was to make a ball-shape. We totally absorbed in
shaping the kokedama into a ball. But, that’s the most relaxing time without thinking after hard works. Touching
living plants was the best way to feel refreshed, and also made our
conversation more smoothly! We indeed had a great
conversation together after finished making kokedaama. All
kokedama looked fabulous and wonderful features. No one was same, different
size, and different theme! Some of our members would put it on their desk at
office and get a natural energy from it, one member would display it as a fancy
interior at living room. We all recharged our batteriesthanks to kokedama
arrangement! Thank you for joining us, and a big thank to Mana!!
