::::: Class Report on January 30th, 2015:::::

Thank you all for joining last Saturday on January 31st! It was a super fun kick off event for introducing Business Culture Class (BCC) and Trend Culture Class (TCC) at a beautiful studio
 "CLUB PETU"!

Introducing ourselves with the ice-breaking topic and enjoying free talk time for 1 hour, Jojo (ICT organizer) introduced all participants ICT project and two new classes with showing slides and videos. We split into two groups and discussed on 2 topics (*Corporate NEETs and Japanese apology) *Corporate NEETs - has appeared, which refers to younger workers who are in employment but who have very little content to their jobs. Most are paid to simply show up, with many spending the entire day surfing the internet and pretending to work.

First topic was about "Why does Japanese society produce “Corporate NEETs”? One of our members from Canada told us that labor union had a big power and protected workers who don't have any skills and abilities. A big problem for increasing "Corporate Neets" is the lack of responsibility, which can be no excuse that companies don't afford to train them due to a lack of budget. So it is necessary to motivate and inspire them throughout Nominication or Party in Japanese way!

Second topic was "Japanese apology", which discussion gave us some interesting point of view and insight on how to apologize to others! Japanese apology is very formality and ritual saying too much words "Sorry, Simimasen and Moushiwake gozaimasen", but do you remember that the golfer Tiger Woods' Press Conference Apology (2010)? He just talked what he has done reading a paper with a matter-of-fact voice. Any good example for heartfelt apology?

Again thank you all for joining our introduction class for BCC and TCC, see you all at next class on February 14th!
