Japanese Clay Doll Making and Photography 人形と情景制作 【Date】 Saturday,
April 19th 【Event
Details: Fascinating Points】
Japanese Doll is one of the most traditional products in
Japan, and those have played a significant role in Japanese culture even today.
Kids and adults alike have bought dolls, and collected them. Aside from just
playing and making these dolls, you can also take pictures of them. Well, have
you ever taken pictures of dolls in miniature set? Not just shot in any manner
you like, but care more background and light in the tiny theater (set). In this
workshop, you will enjoy making Japanese style dolls (kimono woman or samurai) out
of clay, especially making the head part, and paint them. And we move on the
photography part, where we get some tips to help you with your doll photography. About photography
part, taking pictures indoors, the interior of most houses will not have enough
natural light to give you a good doll photo. And small dolls and doll
marks are some of the most difficult objects to photograph clearly and in
focus. So Mr. Saito who is a wizard of light and shadow will show you some tips
(e.g. light up, choose backgrounds, get closer, color balance, angles and much
more) and demonstrate how to take better pictures in the set at home using your
own digital or mobile phone camera. If you
love to take photos, then you would have a variety of subjects to work on. It would be fun to
create a story with your pictures! You will
surely enjoy taking photos of the doll, and get the data to make original
postcards at the end! 【Fascinating Points】 ・Get some tips to take better pictures in the set at home ・Get your lovely doll you made! The only one in the world! ・Photographing taken by high-quality professional camera and giving Data
