Session 01 : Is my personality type suited for Japan?? ~ What is your TYPE? ~

  • Are Japanese people THAT different (from non-Japanese)??
  • Why are some Japanese more open to foreigners?
  • Why do some foreigners stick out like a sore thumb in Japan while others seem to fit right in?

According to Carl Jung, who wrote about the difference between Sensors and Intuitives, your mental preferences (your Type) is determined at birth.

Understanding and accepting your type is critical for self-acceptance and development.
Understanding TYPE can also be very valuable in helping your communication, relationships and realizing your life pursuits.

This session will be an introductory session where we will delve into the differences between Sensors and Intuitives.

The majority of the Japanese population as well as the schooling system and many companies are made up of and value the Sensing way of viewing the world.

The differences between Sensors and Intuitives will be explained following by short discussion groups and activities in groups. The activities will very concretely demonstrate the differences between Sensors and Intuitives. (Every time I run these activities most participants are shocked by the differences!).

This two-hour session combines short lecture, discussion and activities to help people identify their way of viewing the world.
